Nedlands President Tenders Resignation

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Nedlands RUFC, I would like to advise that effective from 04 March 2014, Mark Badham has resigned as President of the club for personal reasons.  Over the more than 10 years that Mark has been involved at Neddies he has been a tireless worker and promoter of our club, and has consistently and frequently put the club ahead of his own personal demands.  From managing teams, to leading tours within WA and overseas, to home ground set up, and lastly President of Nedlands, Mark has been an amazing presence within the Neddies brotherhood.  His enthusiasm, energy and commitment to the club is unquestionable, and as a result our club has benefited immensely.  In particular, I want to mention the skill and compassion he handled the death of Mike Denton in Bali, and subsequent bringing of the Denton family into the Neddies fold which can never be underestimated or forgotten.  We wish Mark all the best for the future and truly hope we will find him on the Foreshore sideline for many games to come.

Subject to approval from the Executive Committee, I have agreed to accept the role of President of Nedlands RUFC for the 2014 season.  Nedlands is an amazing rugby force in WA, and I proudly look forward to representing the Neddies rugby club during the season.  I also hope that all members of the club will support me as your new President.

Sincerely Yours,
Peter Malcolm.
