Congratulations to Ammon Matuauto and Anaru Rangi who have been named in the Western Force team to play the Bulls from Pretoria on Friday Night at nib Stadium. This will make them the 2nd and 3rd Nedlands players to debut for the Western Force this year, after Prop, Jermaine Ainsley debuted in Round 1.
Ammon has been part of the Western Force squad since 2015 and has been a standout in opening rounds of the Pindan Premier Grade, scoring 5 tries in just 3 games for the club. His performance has earnt him a Super Rugby debut, starting at Outside Centre this Friday night.
Anaru was called into the Western Force squad 2 weeks ago on a short term injury cover contract, earning his spot in the squad after performing well in the last couple of seasons for Nedlands Premier Grade and the Perth Spirit. After a solid 2 weeks of training he has now been selected on the bench as Reserve Hooker.
All the best to both of these boys on Friday night, we encourage as many players and members to come down and show some support.
