2020 Committee Voted in at the 2019 AGM

The 14th of Nov AGM saw the return of most of the Nedlands Committee Members led by returning Club President Bob Somerville backed up by his two unflappable deputies in VP – Rugby Matt Caporn, VP – Club House Josh Aislabie, Secretary Steve Bradbury, Executive Committee Member Eric Brain and Patron Richard Vaughan.

The Incoming BOM has a new face in the form of well known “Seal Slide” Inventor Kirk Kawana who steps up from the Juniors Committee to bring his broad life experiences to running the club. Welcome to the BOM Kirk.

I would like to sincerely thank outgoing Treasurer Lisa Melvin for her exceptional service to both the Junior and Senior clubs over the past few years keeping track of the clubs finances.

Also long time committee member “Professor” Josh Mylne has stood down as an executive member of the BOM, thanks Josh for the input and advise you have provided over the years. Josh’s role has been more than filled by the incoming Kirk Kawana.

With Lisa stepping down we now have a vacant position on the Board of Management of Treasurer, who will be overseeing but not doing all the micro-scale book-keeping at the club. If anyone is interested in this position then please give me a call.

Singapore 10’s – Neddies U15s Win

Congratulations to the Nedlands U-15s who have spent 5 years touring to Singapore and competing in the Singapore Centaurs 10 a side tournament finally triumphed in spectacular style. The Tommy Fearn and Chris McLean coached side went through undefeated over two days conceding only one try for the whole weekend. Well done lads a great effort.
