Happy Easter to all of the Nedlands Faithful where-ever you may be isolated around the World. If Like the First Lady and I, you have overbinged on Netflix, Kayo and AppleTV, baked more in the last two weeks than the last decade and have now worked out that the really good bottles in the cellar should be drunk while you can savor them, not waiting to knock the top off that 2005 Henschke Hill of Grace while your feeling absolutely crap and cant taste a thing while comatose in an ICU ward.
I thought I would send you all a note to let you know that we have battened down the hatches at the club even the ice maker has been turned off, but have kept the cool-room running so our backup supplies remain fresh.
The club has gone into hibernation, our players however are still doing their individual training so they dont come out of isolation looking like a candidate for the TV show “My 600 Pound Life”.
There is not much else to report from RugbyWA at the moment, but here is a zoom meeting next wednesday of club presidents for an update on what the 2020 season may be like, things are slowing but this virus has everyone on edge and uncertainty is the name of the game at the moment. I will send out another update next week after the meeting to keep everyone informed.
Stay safe everyone look after your immediate loved ones (ie those staying in your house) and those far away.
